Global Leaders Forum - 1st Annual Employment Forum

On 17 and 18  May 2022 the Global Leaders Forum organised under the chair of Siãn Keall, Partner Travers Smith London, their first annual employment forum in London.

Partner Pierre Elvinger co-moderated a panel under the header “The Gig Economy”. As temporary and flexible jobs become more common legal clarity still lags and public/political opinion can be polarised. The panel discussed the following areas:

  • Working time and pay for gig economy.
  • One-sided flexibility.
