The Association Henri Capitant in cooperation with the University of Luxembourg held a two-day joint German-Belgian-French-Luxembourgish conference on “The guiding principles of the process in comparative law, or the roots of the European thinking of Henri Motulsky”.

Partner Myriam Pierrat, president of the Luxembourg Group of the Association welcomed participants and led through the first day's morning sessions on the European report and philosophy of the guiding principles of the process in comparative law. The main themes of the conference, i.e. “Principle of restriction" (for the judge), "Principle of jurisdiction", “Principle of initiative" and "Principle of contradiction” were then discussed.
