Arnaud Cagi-Nicolau specialises in collective investment funds and other investment vehicles.
Arnaud’s practice encompasses a broad range of alternative investment funds (including private equity, real estate and hedge funds) as well as undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities. He also advises on derivative documentation (implementation of EMIR, ISDA documentation and derivative instruments implementing investment strategies), collateral management, securities lending, repo and prime brokerage arrangements.
Career and memberships
Member of ALFI (Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry) since 2011.
Prior to joining the firm, Arnaud worked for the Paris office of two major international law firms.
Member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2010.
Member of the Paris Bar since 2004.
Education
Specialised Master’s degree in international business law and management from ESCP Europe and HEC in Paris (France).
DEA (diplôme d’études approfondies) in private law from the Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis (France).
