Michel Nickels’ practice concentrates on commercial and civil litigation. In addition to litigation, Michel advises on real estate, construction and insolvency law.
In the field of real estate, his main focus lies on all types of lease matters, where he regularly assists different types of clients on the drafting and negotiation of lease related agreements. He also represents clients in court proceedings in relation to all kind of real estate matters.
In addition thereto, he assists clients in relation to the acquisition and sale of real estate assets, including the drafting and review of any required agreements (notarial deeds, mortgages, security agreements, etc.) and the conduct of due diligence exercises.
The clients in this area range from local real estate owners and developers to multinational companies with the intention to establish a physical presence on the Luxembourg territory. The business areas of such clients include general trading companies, hotels, elderly care facilities, industrial companies, etc.
